Been dealing with my dealership and Crestliner. Nothing has been resolved in over 3 months but at least Crestliner gives me answers when I call. Apparently they resolved and closed my case. They gave me a contact that they spoke with. Now I have to get answers from the dealer Bla-bla

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I finally got my boat returned to me And they supposedly fixed it but I have not gotten any Kind of discounts or deals are anything like that. And I actually won't know if it's fixed to where it's supposed to be until this spring when i'm able to take it out onto the water!!

I've already explained this a couple of times before. I'm pretty sure They know who I am by now! It really hasn't changed anything though! I literally get No Is answers when I Is try to contact somebody there! I just want my Is boat back and having at working in the Way it should!!!

It has been a terrible experience. And I would not want anyone to go through what I have gone Through! I am getting nothing but a big run around. And no one seems to know what's going on with my boat. Totally unacceptable and ridiculous!!!

To find out what's going on with my boat!

The factory came I've got my boalmost 5 months afor a listing problem! I call to get information From both the factory customer service And the dealership and I have got nothing but running around every time I call!

I have not been able to get any answers. I have no idea when the boat is gonna be Return to me or if It will even be fixed right until I get to try it Is next spring, And all the while I have to still pay for the payments for something. I can't even use! This whole experience has been a total nightmare.

And I find it to be totally ridiculous that anyone should be pretty good. That way for a brand new boat!

Is the way I feel right now, I will never recommend this company to anyone and I will never buy From this company again!! At least they could do, It keep me updated on what's going on!!

Failure of dealer to perform Recall

I called the dealer 3 times to try to get a potential life threatening recall done on my boat, but never got a service appointment or call back. I wanted to wait while service was done ( they said the procedure takes about an hour). For me to get to Highway Marine would take a little over an hour. They told me they couldn't do the service for about 3 months. Highway Marine never got back to me, after calling 3 timesAvoid. So I was not able to use my boat.

Attempting to get the paint and welds on my New Crestliner fixed; trailer is terrible! My tires have worn out in just 3 months; I just had to replace them; Im not happy at all with the trailer!!!

My boat started taking on water and I spent some time looking over all the intakes, plug, lines and livewells but could not find anything that would be of issue. After closer inspection of the entire boat, I was able to locate an area on the bow, where the keel connects to the floor, there is a crack that has been leaking.

I would like to say that this sort of thing happens, and that it can be fixed, although I am terrified now because I know that it should never happen and I am worried that the boat was made with a lack of quality control and possibly will continue to fall apart.

The weld has clearly pulled away from the floor. It is leaking a great deal and will need to be repaired.

I have taken several pictures of the crack and have a local aluminum welder coming to inspect the damage. I am also having him take a look to see if he can find any other areas that would be of concern at a later date. I bought this boat because of the name and the understanding that these boats are made with high-quality materials by professionals that ensure that they will not peel apart.

At this time, I am extremely concerned that I was wrong.

I live very far away from a marine repair shop and will not be able to go without the boat for a long period of time. I am looking for a solution to this that will not going to take my boat away for an extended period of time during the summer.

VERY CONCERNED and UPSET.

I have asked for clarity on what to do next. Waiting for a reply.

Have a written notice from Brunswick corp not to use the boat. It lacks foam . It’s been months no repair , no refund ,

I was contacted in the spring not to use the boat . I reached out to the place I bought the boat they told me to contact the maker . Brunswick. I contacted the attorney general they never responded to them . Ive contacted the Illinois attorney general on 7/28/2023 its 9/5 /2023 . Cant use the boat cant sell it

To answer questions about my boat

I just want to know what's happening with my boat. And what will be done to solve the problem!! It was returned to the factory because it wanted to list to the left side when you get it up on plain!!! In the meantime, I don't have a boat and I still have to pay for it. And I can't go fishing during the best time of the season. Needless to say right now i'm not a very happy customer!

I really love this boat. But when I get it up to plain and 5000 RPM, And I have a passenger in the boat with me, The whole boat wants to tilt to the left point where it is dangerous to operate and no one that I've talked to seems to know how to solve the problem!!

Full enclosure package question and concerns on 1600 vision

Im looking to buy my first ever new boat. Ive looked at so many brands and Ive got my sights set on the 2023 Crestliner Vision 1600.

I love the options that are offered for the boat. One in particular stands out and is really the most important reason Im getting the boat and all the options that total up to 38k. ITs everything I want in a boat. The full enclosure package is what Im very interested in.

I want to know if it fully covers the boat from bow to stern, does it completely cover the boat? Its a 2500 option and I cant find any pictures of what it looks like with it installed or put up.

Ive contacted several dealers and they have never seen it either and cant answer this. Please Id love to be able to see exactly what Im spending 2500 on

Im looking to purchase a 2023 Crestliner vision 1600. I absolutely love the wide options yall offer for that boat. One in particular has me very interested. The full enclosure package. I cant see what it looks like on the boat and cant find pictures anywhere, I want to know if it fully covers the boat from bow to stern. I want to know if its water proof to a small rain storm. Tried a new boat today couldn't get it to stop porpoising. 18' Jon with 60 tiller trimmed all the way down wouldn't stop even when put man up front. Wanted to speak to a tech that knows about boat set up and maybe troubleshoot it. Wouldn't let me maybe you don't have any. I wanted the boat and probably would have went back and bought it if you had enough courtesy not to treat me like I was stupid. Didn't want to speak to the dealer wanted to speak to the company that builds them. I had asked the dealer.I am not an Idiot.

Recall fiasco

Crestliner has been forced to do a recall on certain models by the USCG for insufficient foam flotation in the hulls. Their solution is to leave it to the dealers who are in various stages of training to do the work. This leaves the customer unsure about when or if the work is being done correctly. Communication is minimal, even to the dealers. Very poor handling of an issue that could have been avoided if theyd done their jobs in the first place.

Nightmare

Purchased my first new boat . What a big mistake I made buying this boat .

First of all had new trolling motor installed that cost over 3 k when I launched the boat the design of trailer ripped trolling motor right off . Steering lines were crossed had to get a local mechanic to come out and fix boat would turn left when it was suppose to turn right ran into dock because of this . Electrical is also a nightmare pumps work when they want to not all the time sea deck pealing off everywhere . Center console was only being held by 4 screws when there are about 20 holes for screws fuel tank had big leak discolored everything and was a fire hazard and to top it off a year latter I still have not heard a word from anyone and Ive sent endless emails to crestliner and nothing .

I took the boat back to dealer I bought it from they had it for a week and did absolutely nothing returned boat and everything was the same NOTHING FIXED ! After having to pay and do a lot of repairs myself Im super disappointed with the QC in this company .

The boat is a total disaster wont recommend to anyone . Bay2000
